9-folds by Parrillo for Males

9-folds by Parrillo for Males is a bodyfat calculation based on 9-folds by Parillo formula. All skinfold measurements should be made on the right side of the body in mm using a body fat caliper. Body fat caliper should be placed 1 cm away from thumb and finger,perpendicular to skinfold,and halfway between crest and base of fold. Pinch should be maintained with the body fat caliper for 1 to 2 seconds before reading the caliper. Take duplicate measurements at each site,allow time for skin to regain normal texture and thickness.

  • Measured on a diagonal fold at the outer pectoralis,in the middle between nipple and axilla.
  • Measured on a vertical fold at the upper arms frontside,half way between shoulder and ellbow.
  • Measured on a vertical fold at mid of the upper arms backside.
  • Measured on a diagonal fold on the back,at the lower edge of the scapula. Angle of inclination should be 45,clockwise.
  • Measured on a vertical fold an inch right from the navel.
  • Measured on a diagonal fold straight over the pelvis,close to the navel. Angle of inclination should be 30,clockwise.
  • Measured on a horicontal fold near the kidney(2 inch from vertebras,1 inch over the pelvis).
  • Measured on a vertical fold in front of the thight,half way from hip joint to knee.
  • Measured on a vertical fold in the center of the middle gastrocnemius head.
  • Weight in kg,you may round or be exact(use decimal points).
